Elaine provided doula support with my second pregnancy and although my birth ended in a c-section for breech positioning, she was indispensable during my pregnancy and leading up to my daughter’s birth. She provided me with knowledge and comfort in preparing for a c-section and helped me to understand the process and how things may go. She answered my questions with a kindness and expertise that I would only expect in such an experienced doula. I wish she could have been physically present at my delivery but her emotional presence was felt on every level. If I was ever to have another child I would definitely invite her to be my doula again.
