Elaine from Columbus Birth Arts was our doula and she did an excellent job! She was there to help prepare us for the birth of our first baby. She did a few pre-birth meetings with us that really helped prepare us for what labor and delivery are like. Then she was there to help us for the birth process at the hospital. We had our baby on June 1, 2015 and Elaine really made things easier and less stressful for us. We were surprised by how often we were left alone in our hospital room {by hospital staff}. It was great to have Elaine there when we had questions about things that were happening and just as an extra support person. I think her being there helped my husband Chris to be more confident and less stressed as well. I recommend Elaine!
